（中央社洛杉磯18日綜合外電報導）美國職棒MLB美聯冠軍系列戰，再一敗就淘汰的多倫多藍鳥隊今天第4戰在主場背水一戰，終於以5比1擊敗克里夫蘭印地安人隊，保住一線生機。
法新社報導，在七戰四勝制系列賽已取得3比0聽牌優勢的印地安人隊，無緣靠橫掃對手晉級世界大賽。
藍鳥隊唐納森（Josh Donaldson）敲出全壘打、安卡納松（Edwin Encarnacion）貢獻2分打點，加上先發投手桑傑士（Aaron Sanchez）6局好投，賞給印地安人隊季後賽第1場敗仗。
兩隊將於19日繼續於多倫多進行系列賽第5戰，印地安人隊將再次挑戰1997年以來的首張世界大賽門票。印地安人隊在1997年驚心動魄的世界大賽，最終敗給當時的佛羅里達馬林魚隊，他們前次贏得世界大賽冠軍已是1948年的事。1051019
